✔ Stabilize incubator to 99.5°F / 35–45% humidity
✔ Rest eggs 12–24 hrs before incubating
✔ Turn eggs 4× per day until Day 14
✔ Move to lockdown Day 14 — increase humidity to 65%
✔ Hatching typically begins Day 16–18

🔥 Brooding Basics

✔ Start chicks at 85–105°F (85°F cool zone, 105°F warm zone)
✔ Provide 28–30% starter crumble
✔ Lower brooder temp by ~5°F per week
✔ Switch to 16–22% layer feed after ~7 weeks

⚠️ Important Shipping Note

Due to factors outside our control (shipping conditions, incubation environment, humidity/temperatures, etc.), we cannot guarantee hatch rates. However, we stand behind our birds and are always available to help with questions or concerns.

💛 Thank you for choosing our stock — we love helping customers hatch healthy, beautiful quail!

  • Storage

    • Fertile eggs that will be incubated should be stored between 50-70 °F, pointed side down. If stored for more than 72 hours, they should be stored at an angle and rotated every 6-12 hours.
    • After seven days from the date the eggs were laid, they will start to lose viability. Therefore, we recommend incubating eggs before seven days for the best hatch rate.
  • Incubation

We have had amazing success with the following incubation temp/humidity schedule.

    • Day 1-14 - 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit with 35-45% humidity rotated every few hours.
    • Day 14 (Lockdown) - 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit with 60-65% humidity.
